How to make Bisi Bele Bath

A - Tamarind Paste (2 tsp.), Jaggery (2 ¼ tsp.), Bisil Bele Bath Powder (3 tbsp.), Ghee (2 tbsp.)

B - Moong Dal (2 ½ oz.)

C - Basmati Rice(5 oz.)

D - Orange Carrot (1 ½ oz.), Fresh Green Pea (1 ½ oz.), French Bean (1 oz.), Red Onion (3 oz.), Cashew Nut (1 oz.)

Micro Pods

Pod 1 - Salt

Pod 2 - Black Pepper Powder

Pod 3 - Turmeric

Pod 4 - Madras Tempering

Container A:

Dilute 2 teaspoons of tamarind paste with 20 ml. water and add into container A. Add 2 ¼ teaspoons of crushed jaggery, 3 tablespoons of Bisi Bele Bath Powder and 2 tablespoons of ghee to the same container.



Container B:

Add 2 ½ oz. of Moong Dal (after being soaked in water for 30 mins) in container B.



Container C:

Pour 5 oz. of Basmati rice (after being soaked in water for 30 mins) in container C.

Container D:

Chop carrots into small pieces, take fresh frozen peas, chop french bean into medium sized pieces, slice onions thinly and crush cashew nuts into small pieces (Measurements given on the left side). Add all of these ingredients into container D.

Spice Pods:

Place the spice pods labeled Salt, Black Pepper Powder, Turmeric and Madras Tempering into slots 1 to 4 respectively.

Final Steps:

Check if the pan, stirrer and spatula is placed properly, and if the stirrer is connected to the outlet.

Check if water and oil is filled till the brim of their respective containers.

Check if sufficient vegetable oil is added in the container, which should be around 25 ml.
