Rajma

How to make Rajma

Ingredients

A - Fresh Tomato Puree (100g), Ginger (1 tsp.)

B - Red Onion (50g), Ginger-Garlic Paste (1 ½ tsp.), Bay Leaf (1 leaves), Black Cardamom (½ pods), Cinnamon (¼ stick)

C - Canned Dark Red Kidney Beans (120g)

D - Canned Dark Red Kidney Beans

Pod 2 - Red Chili Powder

Pod 3 - Coriander Powder

Pod 4 - Cumin Seed

Pod 5 -  Garam Masala

Pod 6 - Kasuri Methi Powder

Recipe Directions

Container A:

Blend fresh tomatoes into a puree, add 20 ml of water while pureeing to dilute the mixture. Add 100 grams of the tomato puree to container A.  In the same container, add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic.


Container B:

Blend onion into a puree in a similar fashion as given above, add 40 grams of the puree to container B. In the same container, add 1 ½ teaspoons of ginger-garlic paste, 1 bay leaf, half black cardamom pod and a quarter cinnamon stick.


Container C: 

Pour 120 grams of canned red kidney beans into container C.


Container D:

Pour 120 grams of canned red kidney beans into container D.



Spice Pods:

Place the spice pods labeled Salt, Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin Seed, Garam Masala and Kasuri Methi Powder into slots 1 to 6 respectively.


Final Steps:

Check if the pan, stirrer and spatula is placed properly, and if the stirrer is connected to the outlet.

Check if water and oil is sufficiently added.

Select recipe and portion size.
